A 25-year-old mentally challenged man was beaten with an aluminum baseball bat by his grandfather's girlfriend because it was "lighter and easier to swing," according to the suspect. Three men were killed after a construction accident in West Virginia on Saturday when two mobile phone towers collapsed. Six people were hurt on Thursday morning when a Carrick School District van collided with another vehicle, according to an Allegheny County dispatch controller.
