Bill passes Pennsylvania Senate to increase automobile insurance limits

The Pennsylvania State Senate has recently passed a bill to amend Title 75 (vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes. This revision will change Pennsylvania automobile insurance limits from $15,000/$30,000/$5,000 to $25,000/$50,000/$15,000. This means that liability insurance for motor vehicle accidents must cover the minimum amount of $25,000 because of injury to one person in one accident, the minimum amount of $50,000 because of injury to two or greater victims of accidents, and $15,000 of coverage...
