Rhode Island has another case that was reported about the current outbreak of fungal meningitis. The first case was a 60-year-old woman from Lincoln that received an injection at Ocean State Pain Management of Woonsocket. She was treated and is now recovering. Due to the current outbreak of fungal meningitis New Jersey has reported 18 cases. No deaths have occurred in the state. The total number of cases is 386 in 19 states and there have been 28 deaths.
