Erie car accident kills 17 year old passenger

A car accident near Beach 5 at Preque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania caused the death of a 17 year old male and severe injuries to a 21 year old. The 17 year old was a passenger in a vehicle being operated by the 21 year old. The 21 year old was operating the vehicle at a high rate of speed when the accident occurred. The 17 year old was pronounced dead at the scene and the 21 year old was transported to UPMC Hammot in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Frequently, passengers that are injured in single car accidents fail to recognize theirs or their family's rights to recover lost wages, for a wrongful death, pain and suffering, and medical expenses as a result of the negligence of the driver that caused the accident. In all car accident and personal injury claims, the injured victim has to prove both liability and damages. If the injured party was a passenger in a car, liability generally becomes easy because they were not operating the vehicle.

The car accident lawyers at Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. have a substantial amount of experience advocated for those that have been injured or killed as a passenger in a car accident.
