Allegheny County Route 28 car accident kills one

A car accident in the southbound lane of Route 28 near Shaler, Pennsylvania has killed one person and injured three others. The car accident involved three vehicles. One of the vehicles was a convertible and both the driver of the convertible and a passenger were ejected from the vehicle. A 52 year old woman died and the other woman that was ejected from the convertible was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The drivers of the other two vehicles suffered minor injuries.

Convertible cars and motorcycles are driven at a much higher frequency during summer months in Western Pennsylvania for the obvious reason that is the weather. Convertibles generally offer various unique safety features to help keep the drivers safe. These features include a pop up roll bar to protect the driver and passengers in rollover accidents and side airbags that deploy out from the seats and over the head area.

If these safety features malfunction in an accident, the people injured as a result could have been the victim of a defective product. In these types of situations, a good defective product lawyer can help the victims and victim's family recover for lost wages, wrongful death, medical bills, and pain and suffering from the manufacturer, the wholesaler, the store, and other liable parties.

If you or a loved one has been injured by a defective product or in a car accident, call the personal injury lawyers at Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. today for a free case evaluation at 1-866-596-1910.
