A fatal pedestrian accident claimed the life of a Pittsburgh area man Wednesday night. The accident occurred around 11:30 pm and about half a mile east of the Boulevard of the Allies exit of I-376 East in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The victim was walking in the left lane of the Parkway East outbound when he was struck according to the state police. The impact flung him into the westbound lanes where he was hit by two more cars, and shockingly none of the drivers stopped to see what they had hit.
"They might have thought they hit an animal. Who suspects a pedestrian walking down the interstate?" said a State Trooper. Because of the impact of the first collision, the police suspect that the front end of that car should have serious damage. From some of the evidence gathered at the scene the police also suspect the car to be blue. There are no descriptions to the other two cars that were involved in the crash.
