Truck and bus collide, killing three in Eastern PA

A tractor trailer accident involving a semi-truck and a charter bus has killed three in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. The truck accident occurred on Interstate 380 in the Pocono Mountain region of Eastern Pennsylvania. The charter bus was heading from the New York City metro area to Niagara Falls and had 17 passengers. When the police came to the accident scene they reported that the front end of the bus was damaged and the bus was standing upright, wedged into the side of the truck that was sheared in half. The cab of the truck was turned over on its side off of the road.

As a result of this tragic accident, the driver of the charter bus and two passengers of the charter bus were killed. Also, more than a dozen of the 17 passengers on the bus were injured and taken to local hospitals.
