Three local motorcycle accidents injure four on Sunday

Three separate motorcycle accidents this weekend have injured a total of four people. One of these motorcycle accidents involved a state trooper. The state trooper was injured after a motorcycle accident on I-79 north in Franklin Park Borough, Pennsylvania. The officer was operating his motorcycle when a vehicle made an unsafe lane change, causing the state trooper to be thrown from his motorcycle. He was transported to a local Allegheny County hospital for medical treatment.

Another motorcycle accident that happened this Sunday occurred in Erie, Pennsylvania. A father and son were riding a motorcycle near the intersection of Wayne Street and East 6th Street when they collided with a car. Both the father and the son were injured and transported to a local Erie hospital for treatment.

The third motorcycle accident this past Sunday happened near Lordstown, Ohio. The motorcycle accident happened on Selkirk-Bush Road near the village line. A man was injured when he crashed his motorcycle; the cause of the accident is still unknown. The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio for treatment.
