As the awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's disease, has taken storm on social media everywhere via the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Dallas Hartman of Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. and many of his associates were tasked by friends and family to partake. In response to their various individual challenges, everyone at the office put their heads together and came up with a fun, interesting, and different take on the challenge.
When you ask people what they think the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has done for those who suffer from ALS, most people will tell you that, more important than anything else, it has raised awareness; and this is very true. But it has also raised money; money that will go into research for finding a cure for ALS, a neurodegenerative disorder that terrorizes the afflicted and their families. At this point, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has raised well more than $100 million in donation in the United States alone!
Of course, there were the detractors and many people said that dumping ice cold water over your head just seemed like a way to get out of donating to this great charity. So, Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. decided not only to get everyone together to do the challenge, but also to make a generous donation by way of the Dallas Helps program, and encourage others to do the same.
Lucky for everyone, we uploaded our Dallas Helps ALS Ice Bucket Challenge onto YouTube, so click below and watch our video!
