Hepatitis Outbreak in New Hampshire Strikes Fear in 7 Other States

CNN Posted a report on its website on July 26, 2012 indicating that a hospital technician has been allegedly spreading the hepatitis C virus among patients by using syringes on himself and replacing infected syringes back into general circulation to be used on unsuspecting patients. The report, titled "Hepatitis outbreak in New Hampshire strikes fear in 7 other states" describes the illicit behavior of Mr. David Kwiatkowski, a hospital technician accused of spreading hepatitis C through infecting multiple hospital syringes. Mr. Kwiatkowski is also facing similar allegations in Pennsylvania where he was an employee at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. The embattled hospital may be facing multiple lawsuits as a result of Mr. Kwiatkowski's illicit spread of hepatitis C during his time working there as a Radiological Technician.
