Route 19 car accident injures three

A car accident on November 1, 2014 occurred on Route 19 in Scott Township in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. A Sharon, Pennsylvania woman was heading southbound before colliding with another vehicle, being operated by a Mercer, Pennsylvania man that was attempting a right handed turn into a driveway. The drivers of both vehicles and a passenger of the Mercer man's vehicle were taken to Jameson Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania to receive medical attention.

Many things can cause car accidents. Whether one driver is just being negligent of the rules of the road or terrible weather conditions left you unable to stop, it is important to drive defensively and be safe on the road. As a driver you must be aware that one mistake could permanently alter your or someone else's life.

As the days get shorter this winter, there will be less light. As a driver you must be aware of this and stay alert. Not only this, but as winter progresses the roads will only deteriorate making it more dangerous to drive. Bad roads mean that you need to be extra cautious and be a safe driver. Give extra space when following someone to ensure you have enough time to stop safely. Another helpful tip is to always leave early. This allows you to be able to drive cautiously and be more careful, as you are not rushed to make it to your destination on time. Just leaving a few minutes early could help save you from being involved in a serious automobile accident.
