Car accident causes three injuries in Venango

When you're a passenger in a car accident and you're injured, you are likely eligible to receive compensation for your injuries, pain, suffering, lost time at work, and lost future earnings.

Three young men from Crawford County were injured on Thursday night when the driver's vehicle rolled over in Venango County. The accident reportedly occurred just before 6:30 p.m. on Georgetown Road in Frenchcreek Township.

The three men in the vehicle, a 2000 Dodge Durango pick-up truck, are all related, but it is not initially clear how they are related. The driver, a 28-year-old man, was headed west on Georgetown Road when he began losing control of the truck, sliding off the berm of the road. Police told reporters that the truck rolled several times before it finally came to rest in a cornfield.

The driver and two passengers, a nineteen-year-old man and another male whose age is not known at this time, were all hurt in the accident. Two of the men were taken UPMC Northwest and one of them was taken to UPMC Hamot, according to police. All three men's conditions are not yet known.

Filing a lawsuit against a family member can be a difficult ordeal; however, when situations like this occur, there really are no other options. It's important to remember that it is not necessarily your brother, cousin, or parent that you're suing, but that you will be dealing with your family member's insurance company. If you have been injured in an accident with a family member, call the car accident lawyers at Dallas W. Hartman, P.C. at 800-777-4081 for a free consultation.
